It's a difficult situation, Serbs getting involved in politics with Pristina is not something I support but I understand they need both Serbian ID and those issued by Pristina, as a matter of convenience and survival. Same for Albanians holding both IDs. The West created a mess in the region and it's not so black and while.

I can see the benefits of this party though, it gives us a say on matters and we have the power to block "Kosova"*** forming an army. The so-called "Kosova"*** constitution cannot be changed without our approval. So the battle is still being fought and we are still hammering out more than autonomy, less than independence.

That never seemed to be an issue because of the nature of Kosovo's status. In some weird way, SL functions as a party within Kosovo but has its strings pulled from Belgrade. Everyone knows this, and it allows Belgrade and more specifically Vucic to structure policy in the municipalities where they form. Of course Vucic is going to declare "victory" because it extends Belgrade's leverage to areas south the Ibar. Whether or not SL's policies meet the interests of local Serbs in the region is another story. Disputed entity or no, when have ANY party in the Balkans actually given a damn about the local needs of the population they claim to speak on behalf of? Notice how pre-Brussels Agreement Kosovo Serb politicians have suddenly gone silent: Ivanovic, Trajkovic, etc.

To be honest it won’t change anything, Albanians in Kosovo have the highest birth rates in Europe and they will not only dominate Kosovo entirely politically and socially but in a few decades the majority of all Albanians will be from Kosovo. Sad if you think about it because the Albanians from Albania are a much nicer and more willing to discuss issues with out resorting to pettiness or violence, compared to their retarded brothers in Macedonia and Kosovo. The Kosovars want to create an army to join NATO, full stop. I wouldn't take solace that the Serbian minority can veto a Constitutional change. Kosovo was able to put Serbia in it's tracks (pun intended) without an army and can do the same to the minority in the northern part of Kosovo.

That never seemed to be an issue because of the nature of Kosovo's status. In some weird way, SL functions as a party within Kosovo but has its strings pulled from Belgrade. Everyone knows this, and it allows Belgrade and more specifically Vucic to structure policy in the municipalities where they form. Of course Vucic is going to declare "victory" because it extends Belgrade's leverage to areas south the Ibar. Whether or not SL's policies meet the interests of local Serbs in the region is another story. Disputed entity or no, when have ANY party in the Balkans actually given a damn about the local needs of the population they claim to speak on behalf of? Notice how pre-Brussels Agreement Kosovo Serb politicians have suddenly gone silent: Ivanovic, Trajkovic, etc.

Since you love the US why hasn't the US talked to Albo officials in Kosovo of opening some industry? They constantly do that in Belgrade.

Because, according to the CE of B92 forums sj, the US has collapsed and run out of cash so it can't really offer any industry and therefore talks about that are a waste of time. To be honest it won’t change anything, Albanians in Kosovo have the highest birth rates in Europe and they will not only dominate Kosovo entirely politically and socially but in a few decades the majority of all Albanians will be from Kosovo. Sad if you think about it because the Albanians from Albania are a much nicer and more willing to discuss issues with out resorting to pettiness or violence, compared to their retarded brothers in Macedonia and Kosovo. Oh well good win for the Serbs this time.
