Conveniently as usual for Serbian government they forgetting those few years before operation storm. They are forgeting how they pumped all that weapons to their brothers who in return in that hysteria threaten with independence from Zagreband killed Croats in their own countr. Croatian politicians really need to start investing in statements and initiatives that will bring reconciliation between Serbs and Croats rather than constantly promoting and spreading hatred. It's honestly getting ridiculous... As oppossed to the savage shiptars we have every reason to want to normalize our relations with the Croats. We are the same South Slavic people genetically and of course linguistically we speak the exact same language. We don't need another Yugoslavia and we don't need to recognize we are the same people, but it's in our interests to at least respect each other. I will continue to vacation in Croatia

A very feeble Croat attempt at changing historical facts. The Brioni transcripts don't mention this and neither do public statements by Croat officials from the time. It's a many-years-after-the-fact attempt at justifying Croatia's criminal enterprise and the only good thing about this is that it's a de facto admission on their part that they themselves know that it cannot be justified on its own terms, thus the need to invoke Srebrenica. The Serbian war effort in Bihac was from start to end aimed not at conquest but merely at propping up the allied forces of Abdic's autonomous Muslim region against forces loyal to Izetbegovic. The context was completely different from that of Srebrenica where you had headcutting jihadis under Naser Oric's command creating a lot of bad blood in a part of Bosnia which already had a preexisting history of massacres during WW2. Operation Bljesak, which took place months before the events in Srebrenica, was a general repetition for Oluja (Storm) so the planning was already well under way before Srebrenica. The simple fact remains that Croatia had no intent whatsoever to grant Serbs any kind of autonomy and while Krajina Serbs accepted renewed negotiations practically on Croatia's own terms, Croatia refused all and any negotiations since it was bolstered by US military support and Tudjman therefore decided to make the Serbs 'disappear' from Krajina as he had stated in the Brioni transcripts.

Most Serbians don't want rto admit that they ethnically cleansed Croatians from the areas they controlled from 1991 to 1995 and killed many others all in the name of forming a Serb mini state from parts of Croatia. They should look in the mirror at what they have done in the 4 years leading up to Oluja to understand why there is little sympathy for you.

Serbs are the most hated group in the Western Balkans. However, they constantly attempt to tarnish the reputation of their neighbors due to a pathological defense mechanism. The EU is very much aware of this psychological abnormality and will act accordingly when the time comes to decide on admitting the Serbs to the Nato alliance.
