There won't be an exchange of territories but for anyone who has been to both sides Kosovska Mitrovica, you will see that the Serbian side is full of life, young and old walking the streets whereas the Albanian side is dead.

Personally, some kind of conflict there would be a gift to Albanians. It would be their opportunity to leave en-mass as refugees instead of economic migrants.

Oh, one more thing. In the Balkans, we have many neighbours who consider Serbia friendly, however, the Albanians have none. I wonder why?

I get such good laughs from reading the Serbian comments here. One commenting on how northern mitrovica is full of young people and life is probably the funniest one yet. Have you checked the statistics on births in Kosovo? Have you ever been to Kosovo? Kosovo has the youngest population in Europe, Kosovo Serbs are about 1% of the total births, completely useless demographically.

I guess the only way some Serbs can cope is by creating an alternate reality in their heads where everything is going their way. Kosovo being emptied out should've been able to be proven by statistics. Instead what is happening is just the diaspora increasing while birth rate is slightly slowing down year by year, as is common all over the balkans.

Maybe in the end it was a good thing some Scandinavian came up with a solution for Kosovo because left to the decision of the local yokels in Belgrade and Pristina, both sides would be throwing rocks and boards with rusty nails at each other. Dacic wants to revive the dismissed exchange of territory which represents the limited creativity of Serbian officials obsessed with retaining the north while giving up the center and south. About as shortsighted as Albanians who honestly believe the whole region is their's and their's alone.

Couldn't agree more. Albos and Serbs are both retarded, though I understand why the serbs are angry. At this point though, I think the best course of action would be to give Albania to Greece or Montenegro and give Serbia to Bulgaria or Romania. I think that would make the Balkans a better place.

You can't exchange something you conquered. You have to give it back... like UK did w/ Hong Kong.
