NATO general compares 1999 attack on Serbia to Nagasaki

Not really much new for Serbs. The US wanted war and the Albanians supported it. They got their war but didn't end up getting independence.

Looks like the US won the cold war but Russia still had its veto, so Kosovo ended up in a frozen conflict with quasi status, not recognised internationally and in a bit of a mess.

However, considering that Russia ended up with full control over Crimea, Moldova, Abhkazia and South Ossetia, I wonder who actually won.

Yes "general" what does he think about ethnic cleansing committed be Serbian state of Milosevic against Kosovo Albanians? Should Europe allow it when it happens in front of its eyes? Or turn a blind eye?

It is the Serbs that have been ethnically cleansed out of Kosovo and Albanians are proud of it and call for the removal of the remaining Serbs. I see such calls here practically every day and you just keep quiet.

It all happened before Europe's eyes but thank God for Russia and China, who are helping us resist such crimes. The EU/US/UK/NATO, instead of being responsible leading nations made a complete mess of the Balkans, Middle East and parts of Africa.

Well, Kosovo got the removal of Serbia's government control, which is what Kosovo wanted. Whether you want to call it independence or non-independence, or whatever, is not going to change that fact.

Russia certainly won the responsibility to pay the pensions of Crimea's pensioners with Russia's taxpayers money and it also increased the size of Russia's territory by about 0.5%. All those are great achievements that will significantly improve the living standards of Russia's populace!
