I have told you many times that the Church is running the country is Serbia and to the less extent in Greece.

Having said that, I can well imagine that there would be church opposition to a lesbian politician in Serbia. Especially as it is believed that many of the Orthodox Church hierarchy are covertly homosexual themselves and are overtly homophobic in order to preserve their secrecy.

If we want to qualify someone's political merit by their sexuality let me remind you of a couple of quotes from our Lord & let's see who qualifies !

In fact, if a Samaritan touched a Jew, that Jew would have to be ‘cleansed’ by a priest in the Temple. It is ironic that Jesus drinks from the same cup as a Samaritan Woman.
