I know you live in a dream world; but the KLA and UCK were destroyed and hiding in Albania. Too bad Milosevic didn't roll into Albania and clean up the whole country of cowards. Beefing up your military to scare your neighbors won't work as not a single country in Europe would allow you to attack anyone, on a side note why not instead spend that money on your economy, the education system and welfare. I'm sure your people would love that more than buying stock piles of Russian weapons that will only rust with the passing of time.

@just saying - Same could be said to Thaci on his "dream" army, right? At least Vucic is justified with NATO surrounding Srbija, what's Pristina's excuse? Don't say Srbija, you've already established this KLA group would hand Srbija's ass to them. LOL

You are just proving "Just Saying"'s point. If Serbia fights with NATO, Serbia will loose regardless of Serbia's investments in its army. Which is why Serbia investing in its army is a waste of money, if, as you say, the rationale for that investment is a possible war with NATO.

This is nothing less than a veiled threat for Serbia to enlist Russia in negotiations. Doing so would only hurt Serbia. Once Vucic surrenders his sovereignty to Putin there is no return. Don't forget that Putin used Kosovo as precedent for what occurred in Crimea.

@icj1- it's tiring try to pound sense into brains like yours! Truly tiring! Feels like dealing with my little kids, repeating myself time after time... except they finally get it!! The next war, I can just say God help us all! You Albs think that it will be a repeat of 1999.. keep hoping! Not even close! Nothing is the same anymore! The next Syria could be in in the Balkans.. at our kids expense. I'm not sure how Srbija will come out of it, but I can pretty much garauntee...the Albanians will be decimated! NOONE will be a winner in the Balkans!! Harp all you want about "glory days" , it ain't happening! My heart breaks for all the decent people of all sides!

In 1999 the Serbian army tried to cross the Albanian Alps, but they were met by the Albanian Army and left beaten. Let me tell you this, if the Serbs dare to cross the Alps they will find themselves in front of a nasty surprise. And there is no need for tanks or an airforce from the Albanian side. Vietnam will be childs play. I just hope for peace and the ones making war threats are the Serbs who interpret everything the Albanians do as a threat. Heck if Albania wanted war they would have invested in the army, but the ones investing are the Serbs...

If Vucic, Vulin, and co can hire Tony Blair to assist them inside Serbia (remember the news from some time ago?), Pristina can certainly hire Ahtisaari and whoever else is for hire. It is many many years later, these people are just working as private consultants now. Their participation now does not mean what Vucic is saying.

On a side note, the style of his speeches lately is starting to resemble the nonsense Milosevic was blabbering out all the time. The "Serbs are peaceful and victims of history", the "powerful friends of our enemies", "our faith in the final victory", and other stuff like this :).
