Truth and justice are the key words. I hate to see how peoples of new states glorify themselves and demonize their opponebts. And it happens all over the world. And very often they use history as a tool. They insist that their ancestors had lived here or there forever while their opponents are newcomers. Worst situation is now in the Central Asia where 5 new states appeared 25 years ago. In Fergana Valley they are mixed in a very dangerous explosive cocktail. President of Tadjikistan has twice beated the late president of Uzbekistan in Moscow where their guards were separated from the negotiation rooms. Same situation is in the south Caucasus where Armenia occupies 25% of the Azerbaijan territory. They are ready to return it as soon as Azerbaijan admits Nagorni Karabah enclave. And all of them in Asia and Caucasus demonize one another and write their new histories that contradict histories of their neighbors on every page. Because none of them had any statehood in the past and most peoples were formed only in 20-th centuries. Turkic people have no Turkic ancestors at all. It's just a language and Islam. Someone has to stop this madness and the Balkans is not the only hot point you see. I believe that Russia can be a good intermediator in many cases befrore it's too late. Because what I can see peoples go collective madness and burn bridges behind to leave compromise zero chances.
