LDP party leader Cedomir Jovanovic stated Tuesday that Tomislav Nikolic won, as he managed to bring the country back to the stone age in the political sense. Jovanovic believes that the situation in Serbia can be resolved either by immediately calling elections or by reaching an agreement. LDP leader: Serbia returned to stone age Nikolic, who heads the opposition Serb Progressives, is currently on a hunger strike demanding early elections. Jovanovic told B92 that the existing situation in Serbia was caused by the government's lack of a clear plan. Jovanovic believes that the citizens have a right to hear a clear plan of the people running the country, and not, as he pointed out, to wait and see how long Nikolic will take to faint to get an IV, and thus find an excuse to get out of the situation that he got himself into, without considering the consequences. According to him, Nikolic has the right to request from Serbian President and Democratic Party (DS) leader Boris Tadic to hand him the power, "as Tadic had previously agreed to create a party for him." Jovanovic said that this is "the agony of the people" who voted for Nikolic, adding that it is a disaster that instead of a civilized one, a system of values is being established where the question is "who can endure longer." According to Jovanovic, the ones to blame for that are two parties, which are unable to do anything either for themselves, or the country which they are holding hostage. Cedomir Jovanovic (B92)
