Slovenian President Danilo Turk was quoted as saying that Serbia’s foreign policies are "wise and realistic". He also said Belgrade stressing the importance of waiting for the opinion of the International Court of Justice on the legality of Kosovo Albanians' unilateral proclamation of independence is "very useful". Slovenian leader praises Serbian policy “I believe that the advisory opinion of the International Court of Justice will show the complexity of the problem and that it will help the international community in order to better understand all of its aspects,” Turk told Belgrade daily Danas. “Serbia has put emphasis on a peaceful solution to the Kosovo status question. I do not think that this process is reversible. All the question that appear in this context must be solved through political and legal routes, and Serbia has obligated itself to do that, which is very welcomed,” Turk said. Speaking about the issue of Belgrade's full cooperation with the Hague Tribunal, the Slovenian president said that "the stance of [Chief Hague Prosecutor] Mr. Brammertz must be taken seriously and I would trust his conclusions." "Currently I am not aware of any changes in his stance and, I repeat, I would completely rely on his opinion regarding this matter." Turk added that visa liberalization was a "very good and promising" process and that he hopes it would be successfully completed by the end of the year.
