Hague rejects Gotovina release calls

The Hague Tribunal has rejected defense motions in the trial of Croatian Generals Ante Gotovina, Ivan Cermak and Mladen Markac to drop all charges against them. The Trial Chamber said that the prosecution had put forward enough evidence to warrant continuing the trial. Hague prosecutors asked the Trial Chamber to turn those motions down, arguing that there was sufficient evidence of the generals’ guilt.
