The Turkish parliament has approved changes to a law regulating use of the internet, reports from Ankara have said.

Critics, however, say it will limit freedom of speech, Reuters is reporting.Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan's AK Party has a majority in parliament which voted to allow the telecommunications authority to block access to material within four hours without obtaining a prior court order.
The articles are part of a package of laws that still have to be adopted as a whole and be sent to President Abdullah Gul for his approval, Reuters said.
