Iran has freed on bail a French teaching assistant charged with spying after taking part in post-election rallies. Clotilde Reiss was accused at a mass trial last month of aiding a Western plot against the Iranian government following June’s disputed presidential poll. However, Paris denies this saying it was simply an email and that she was pressured into a confession.
