Mila Djindjic, mother of Zoran Djindjic, passes away
The mother of Serbia's Prime Minister Zoran Djindjic, assassinated in 2003, has passed away at the age of 84, Belgrade daily Vecernje Novosti is reporting.

She was assigned constant police escort after the assassination, and until 2013 lived in the village Prekopuce near Prokuplje, and in a nursery home in Jajinci later.In her rare media appearances, Mila Djindjic was saying that the truth about the murder of her son will never be known.
Via lawyer Srdja Popovic she, along with her daughter Gordana, submitted a criminal complaint to the Special Prosecution against Nebojsa Covic and Velimir Ilic that stated they were suspected of knowing of Milorad Ulemek's plan to assassinate Djindjic.
The anniversary of the assassination of Serbia's first democratically elected prime minister was marked on Saturday.
