More drowning victims identified

Two more persons who drowned while trying to illegally cross the border between Serbia and Hungary have been identified.

Two more persons who drowned while trying to illegally cross the border between Serbia and Hungary have been identified. According to the EULEX mission in Kosovo, the two identified persons were found on the territory of Serbia, and were identified thanks to “the fruitful transfer of information” between the EULEX special prosecutor Francesco Florit and the Serbian special prosecutor. More drowning victims identified The accident occurred in between October 14-16 on the Tisza River, when 15 Kosovo Albanians tried to cross the Hungarian border illegally. Three bodies were found on the Hungarian shore and five were found on Serbian territory. All five of the victims found on Serbian territory were identified. The two persons most recently identified on Saturday morning were a woman and a child.
