An SRS official says that the Hague trial of SRS President Vojislav Šešelj will not begin any time soon.

Radicals: Šešelj trial will not start soon
According to him, the trial of the Radicals’ leader will not start before March 2008, bearing in mind that the prosecution filed the motion to amend the indictment on June 25.“It is clear that the Prosecution would erase hate speech charges and adhere to proving Šešelj was a part of a joint criminal enterprise,” Vučić added, stressing that the charges were “all but legal.”
Vučić went on to say that according to the Tribunal’s agenda, all first instance trials would have to end no later than December 2008.
“What have they been doing for the past five years?” he wondered.
“They never actually wanted to try Šešelj, since they know very well it would be a political trial based on fabricated evidence,” Vučić said.
