"Srebrenica resolution could lead to new divisions"

“All those who were killed in Srebrenica should be commemorated as what happened there should never happen again. However, the various resolutions at a time when we are trying to move Bosnia-Herzegovina to a new future, are extremely risky moves,” Crnadak said.

Crnadak, who is a member of the Party of Democratic Progress led by Mladen Ivanic - an opposition party in the Serb entity in Bosnia, the Serb Republic (Republika Srpska, RS) - pointed out that it was "almost impossible to prepare a balanced resolution that everyone would be satisfied about, adding that every effort in that direction was welcome."

"To me, a much more useful and more sincere manner of commemorating the victims is to make life better for all in Bosnia-Herzegovina instead of competing with each other with resolutions and hard words without end,” Crnadak said, stressing that the country should prioritize “urgent economic reforms.”
