Pazar man causes panic in Montenegro Now their Montenegrin colleagues, who are yet to make an official statement, are being flooded with reports that he either attacked people, or was spotted in these towns, Podgorica daily Pobjeda writes. In Serbia, he is wanted in connection to a series of random knife attacks against Novi Pazar residents, something police qualified as attempted murders. When officers mounted an operation to arrest him, the suspect fled to neighboring Montenegro. Local media are now reporting that a young Podgorica woman said she was attacked and that her assailant's description matched that of the Novi Pazar fugitive. A number of other citizens said they either saw the man, or were attacked by him. Some reported spotting him in betting parlors, while taxi drivers are said to be anxious, not knowing "who might get in their car". The newspaper writes that it had been "confirmed" that Seid S. approached private households offering to do menial jobs , but that he also socialized with other workers, allegedly eventually robbing them. Unofficially, Montenegrin police are said to have stepped up their activity and are checking the reports, but have so far not confirmed that the suspect assaulted anyone, or that he is in Montenegro.
