Croatian President Stjepan Mesic could be the next international High Representative in Bosnia-Herzegovina. He confirmed the rumors in a statement for Zagreb daily Vecernji List, saying that after his second term as president is over, he would "happily accept the job", under the conditions that he “remains healthy and that all parties in Bosnia-Herzegovina agree.” Mesic eyes high representative to Bosnia job Mesic’s term as president of Croatia expires in 2010. The daily writes that the Mesic is a politician "with a lot of international respect, very well informed regarding the situation in Bosnia," adding that he is someone who “the Bosniaks love, the Croats respect and the Serbs have little reservations with.”
