Mesic will be 73 years old next month. I don't understand why these men over 70, 75, 80, etc. don't retire but stay in politics. I guess it is far superior to a regular job for the power and money that they want to stay in it.

F-16's?!?! oh my we are in big trouble :'(

Not....first off we don't care. Second F-16's are old and this is common from the US to dump old air craft which need major upgrades so its a scheme from them to get good money for poor planes, If Croatia accepts they are getting suckered.

And look it up? where and what relevance does it have here?

Has the Bosnian government agreed to allow this? Then again we don't care so long as RS is free to go, the Croats can patrol Bosnian air space all they want with their "amazing" air force

Also I forgot to mention that Americans are giving to the Croatians all the F16 Falcons they can use for free. They also want the Croatians to patrol the air space over Bosnia and that is no joke look it up !

This has got to be a joke!! Talk about adding salt to injury. This man is responsible for the collapse of Yugoslavia and now they want to make him the Commisioner of Bosnia. Clearly, there is no limits as to what the international community expects the Serbs to put up with. He should concentrate on getting his own house in order before he goes to manage someone else's. What about the Serbs that were ethnically cleansed from Croatia???

Mesic as High Representative? How short minded are these people who create rumours? Have they forgotten that Mesic was the President of Yugoslavia when he vowed to be the last president of Yugoslavia? If he was for Croatian independence then that is all he would have been after; however, he vowed to destroy Yugoslavia- not just seek independence. Have they forgotten the JNA surveillance video how General Kadijevic forcefully tapped the JNA table when he wanted Mesic to confirm or deny his official stance, which was made available by RTS and Pan-Am satellite? That’s how easy it is to launch missiles- just a tap.

It’s just as easy as a hockey coach tapping a player on the bench to go take the draw with one minute left in the game.
