Vulin: ICTY proved that it is political court

"What else but political can I call a court which can acquit (Ramus) Haradinaj and Naser Oric, despite having written evidence that these people killed other human beings with their own hands, quash its own verdict without any legal basis, and now that the trial is over, change the rules that had been applied during the trial and take everything back to the beginning. I have never had a high opinion of the Hague tribunal and now it's even lower."

According to him the tribunal showed in this way it was "political" and had a set of ever-changing rules for Serbs, and a different one for all the others.

"(ICTY) put on trial people whom it later sent back to politics, people who later became important officials where they went back to, regardless of all the evidence, regardless of the human suffering to which they confessed. I cannot understand that the court in the Hague recognized that crimes had been committed in the area of former Yugoslavia without anyone committing a single crime against Serbs - because that's what the verdicts say," Vulin remarked.

The minister also stated that "what has been done to Stanisic and Simatovic" proved the tribunal was "taking care of politics and nationality and settling its own scores, but not justice."
