"Not at all," Vučić replied, and added, referring to Wednesday's round of the Kosovo talks:

"First, nothing from the Brussels deal has been changed, and there has been no agreement. There is this rule, that nothing is agreed until everything has been agreed."

He then said that it was "difficult to explain the tactics of Belgrade" because there were things he could not say publicly, but that "the leadership of Serbia should be trusted because they know what they're doing."

"I do not know who came out with what statements, but this is a thing I am telling you," Vučić said.

Vučić was in Brussels on Wednesday along with Prime Minister Ivica Dačić, who said after the negotiations that that the sides "came close to agreeing on establishment of a court for seven municipalities in northern Kosovo, where the Serb interests will be protected."

Vučić has previously accused the Priština authorities of resorting to "tricks" in order to amend the Brussels agreement reached in April - that is, to have a basic court in northern Kosovska Mitrovica that would cover four northern, Serb municipalities, and three south of the Ibar River.

This idea, Vučić said at the time, was aimed at "changing the ethnic structure."
