The Austrian government called on the country's parliament to suspend the agreement on social issued with Kosovo, the Austrian parliament said on Friday. Austria recognized Kosovo after the province's ethnic Albanians unilaterally declared independence in early 2008, and the two sides signed an agreement on temporary implementation of the agreement on social security which was previously in place "between Austria and former Yugoslavia", according to reports.
