NGO slams MUP over Ulemek surrender

A Yukom statement says that MUP informed them that data had been destroyed on internal orders.

Yukom requested the information after speculation that Koštunica’s cabinet chief Aleksandar Nikitović, justice minister Zoran Stojković, BIA head Rade Bulatović, state television director Aleksandar Tijanić and minister of the interior Dragan Jočić all met with Ulemek in the MUP HQs on the said night.

“After the answer we received, stating that records were destroyed and that it was consequently impossible to determine who entered the MUP building after Ulemek surrendered, Yukom has filed a new request, demanding the right to gain access to MUP’s commission minutes on the destruction of the evidence in question,” the statement said.
