Assassination tip-off "came from U.S."

The police are working on gathering evidence which would corroborate or dispel the suspicion of a planned assassination of top state officials, says a daily. "The police are also investigating a text message received Friday by a high-level official of the Interior Ministry, which warns of a new assassination attempt against senior state officials," Belgrade-based Blic newspaper writes, noting that "it has been determined the message was sent by a Vuk Jovanovic from the United States."
