A Serb man from the village of Pasjane near Gnjilane in Kosovo has been released from prison. Zivojin Stojkovic was incarcerated for the past two days on suspicion that he killed a 14-year-old ethnic Albanian. Kosovo Serb suspected of murder set free Stojkovic told reporters that he was released from prison after Kosovo police, KPS, said he as falsely accused, while they continued their investigation into the case. The boy from the village of Ugljare was killed on Saturday when fire was opened as he returned from a forest where he was "chopping wood" with his father, according to previous reports. Stojkovic said he was not mistreated while in detention. Meanwhile, members of the KPS searched the homes of two more Serbs in Pasjane, the largest Serb village in the Kosovsko Pomoravlje District, without detaining anyone.

Stojković told reporters that he was released from prison after Kosovo police, KPS, said he as falsely accused, while they continued their investigation into the case.
