Medak Pocket massacre commemorated

A memorial service would be held in the Saint Mark's Church in Belgrade for the victims of the Medak Pocket massacre. Serb civilians, policemen and soldiers of the former Republic of Serb Krajina (RSK) were killed by Croatian armed forces in the area of Medak Pocket, Croatia, 17 years ago. UNPROFOR official managed to find 18 corpses initially, the majority of which were massacred or burned to death, while 11 more bodies were found in 2000, the statement adds.
