Two suspects have been arrested after a man was shot dead in the Belgrade neighborhood of Mali Mokri Lug, according to the Interior Ministry (MUP).

Two arrested in Belgrade shooting The Ministry’s press service told the Beta news agency that one person had died and three were injured in front of the Cigar restaurant on Kralja Aleksandra Boulevard late on Monday night, after an argument escalated into a fight, at which points shots began to be fired. Emergency Medical Services spokeswoman Nada Macura told Beta that the dead man had been unconscious on arrival at Casualty with a gunshot wound to the stomach, while the other injured man had had injuries to the stomach, back and left arm. The third injured individual did not go with the ambulance, but later called the police, who took him to hospital. The fourth injured man had abrasions on his head and body and was later found in a bush and arrested, Macura said, adding that one other person had been taken to hospital before all the rest by car. Radio Television Serbia stated that the shoot-out started with an altercation in front of the restaurant. Eyewitnesses said that at least ten shots had been fired and that those involved in the shoot-out had known each other previously. The attackers fled the scene in a black jeep with Belgrade license plates.
