Kosovska Kamenica municipal officials are convinced that an elderly Kosovo Serb couple died of natural causes. Stanica and Stanko Bogdanovic, both in their seventies, were found in early December in their home in the house village of Kriljevo. Municipal officials blame the media of being "the first to raise suspicion" that the deaths were the result of ethnically motivate hate crime. Officials arrived to the scene as soon as they heard of the death. “For now I cannot say anything. Because I do not work with what we hear and listen in the newspapers and on the radio. It was a natural death. This is the only information we have so far in relation to this,” Municipal President Bedzet Sinani said. The bodies have been given back to the family after new autopsies were performed in Nis. Director of the Nis Forensics Institute Jovan Stojanovic said that the results of the post mortems will be available in two weeks' time.
