"Too early for talks about Turkish Stream" - ambassador

Turkey is prepared to take into account all options that will be beneficial to the Serbian side, he said.

The gas pipeline has been discussed during the meetings that the ministers in charge had in Hungary, and Serbia is probably working out its own calculation based on those discussions - however, the feasibility study is not complete yet and, without it, it is too early to say anything, Bozay told Tanjug during the 15th Serbian Economic Summit on Tuesday, adding that "EU's reaction to the project is also still pending."

Noting that the Turkish Stream project has been proposed by Russia and that Russia's Gazprom and Turkey's Botas are working on it, Bozay announced that presidents Vladimir Putin and Recep Tayyip Erdogan will meet in Baku on June 13 "likely also discuss the gas pipeline then."
