Central bank prevents dinar from sliding
The value of the Serbian dinar will remain unchanged Wednesday with the official middle exchange rate at RSD 111.1809, the National Bank of Serbia (NBS) says.

The value of the Serbian dinar will remain unchanged Wednesday with the official middle exchange rate at RSD 111.1809, the National Bank of Serbia (NBS) says. The exchange rate will remain unchanged after the NBS has sold EUR 20mn in the interbank foreign exchange market. The dinar hit its record low against the single European currency on March 27, when the official middle exchange rate was RSD 111.1992, and its yearly high on January 11 with the rate at RSD 103.6922. Compared to a month before, the Serbian currency is down 0.7 percent, and 6.8 percent compared to a year ago, the NBS release reads.
