Serbian companies in Dow Jones Balkan index

Five Serbian companies have been listed in the Dow Jones STOXX Balkan 50 Equal Weighted. They include Energoprojekt Holding construction company, and four banks: Komercijalna, AIK, Metals and Agrobanka. The criteria for the inclusion is for the company to have a relatively high free float, with each share in the index participating with about two percent of the value. The index's historic value was calculated on December 31, 2006, while this year's growth amounts to 38.7 percent. The free float usually relates to stock from investors who own less than five percent in a company.
