Ceo slučaj pokrenut je njenim komentarom na video jedne obožavateljke na TikToku, što je izazvalo burne reakcije i raspravu na društvenim mrežama.

Komentar koji je pokrenuo lavinu

Sve je počelo kada je jedna obožavateljka objavila snimak sa koncerta Zare Larson uz opis: "Ovde nisam znala da sam trudna, ali barem je moja beba čula 'Midnight Sun' pre nego što sam abortirala."

Pevačica je na to odgovorila komentarom koji je zatim podelila i na svom profilu: "Ja sam 'ubila' nastup, a ti si ga 'ubila' nakon nastupa, purrrrrr", napisala je Larson.

Njena igra rečima izazvala je podeljene reakcije i pokrenula širu raspravu o abortusu.

More than 1 in 2 trafficking victims have been coerced into at least one abortion, with around 30% having experienced multiple abortions. Nearly 70% of abortions on victims of s*x trafficking are performed legally at abortion clinics, with the abuse almost never reported, and often even covered up by the clinics. Women who go through with abortions have a 154% higher risk of s*icide than women who carry to term. 65% report symptoms of post-traumatic stress disorder and are more likely to be at risk of long-term clinical depression. Izgubljen ugovor od tri miliona dolara

U novom videu, koji je počeo da kruži internetom, ali nije objavljen na njenom zvaničnom TikTok profilu, pevačica je otkrila finansijske posledice svoje šale.

"Nedavno sam zbog šale o abortusu, koja je usput bila jako smešna, izgubila ugovor vredan tri miliona dolara. Pomislila sam, u redu, dođavola", izjavila je u videu.

"Ako se ne slažete sa mojim stavom da žene treba da imaju pravo na abortus ili da o tome možemo da govorimo na šaljiv način, onda jednostavno nismo jedno za drugo kao partneri."

"Potpuno sam sigurna u svoj stav"

Larson se osvrnula i na kritike koje su joj uputili korisnici društvenih mreža, poručivši da je to ne pogađa.

"I baš me briga za to. Možete da mi šaljete milione poruka i milione komentara u stilu 'bu, bu, bu, ti si loša osoba, zla veštice'. Nije me briga jer sam potpuno sigurna u svoj stav o tome", poručila je.

Njen istup naišao je na odobravanje dela obožavalaca, koji su joj pružili podršku. Neki su čak tražili da otkrije o kom se brendu radi kako bi mogli da ga bojkotuju.

Ipak, drugi su komentarisali da su njen ton i izbor reči bili nepromišljeni i da takvim istupima zapravo ide na ruku protivnicima prava na abortus.
