Montenegrin Prime Minister Milo Djukanovic said that Podgorica will not wait to establish diplomatic relations with Pristina. “There should be no more hiding behind alibis, with expectations that the International Court of Justice (ICJ) in The Hague will give some kind of explicit negation of the total policies of the international community in relation to the Kosovo question,” Djukanovic said. "Montenegro won’t wait for ICJ decision" “That is pure illusion and I have never made a practice of wasting time on illusions,” Djukanovic told Radio Television Montenegro. He said that diplomatic relations should be established with reasonable dynamics, and ambassadors should be exchanged, because this will contribute to establishing quality relations in the region, a higher level of stability, and the creation of perspective worthy of a European future. Commenting the various stances of Montenegrin senior officials regarding when diplomatic relations should be established with Kosovo, Djukanovic said that those are all personal opinions and that the decision is solely in the hands of the Montenegrin Foreign Affairs Ministry.
