“The aircraft underwent a full cycle of factory testing, and pilots from the Russian Ministry of Defence evaluated them under various operating conditions, after which they flew to their home base,” the press service said.

It noted that the aircraft differ from those produced at the beginning of the “special military operation,” referring to the start of the invasion of Ukraine.

During that period, the Su-57 underwent significant development, Russian media reported, adding that the fighter continues to be improved and modernized, incorporating extensive experience gained during combat operations.

“The aircraft has already performed well during the ‘special military operation.’ Its new technical configuration will expand the range of missions in which this type of aircraft can be involved. The advanced capabilities of its weapons system allow the use of new types of air-launched munitions”, said a Su-57 pilot from the Russian Aerospace Forces.

The Su-57 multirole fighter is designed to perform a wide range of combat missions.

It is capable of engaging targets in the air, on the ground, and at sea.

The aircraft can operate day and night, including in adverse weather conditions and in environments with heavy electronic interference.
