Saudi Arabia: Multiple drones shot down

The Saudi Arabian Ministry of Defense announced today that it has shot down several drones targeting the diplomatic quarter in the country’s capital, Riyadh.

According to reports, Saudi forces intercepted multiple drones over the past hours, at least two of which were headed toward the diplomatic district, Al Jazeera reports.

Saudi forces also shot down a ballistic missile, whose debris fell near Prince Sultan Air Base, but caused no damage.

IRGC claims to have struck over 100 Israeli targets in Tel Aviv

The Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) announced that it attacked more than 100 targets in Tel Aviv as part of the 61st wave of Operation 'True Promise 4,' stating that the action was carried out in retaliation for the death of former Iranian security official Ali Larijani.

In its statement, the IRGC said the targets were hit with various types of missiles, including 'Khoramshahr-4,' 'Qadr,' 'Emad,' and 'Heibar Shekan,' according to Press TV."

A wave of Iranian missiles targeted multiple areas overnight in Israel's capital Tel Aviv on March 18. Explosions echoed across the city and massive fires erupted after the missiles struck.

Israel's Iron Dome failed to intercept most Iranian missiles. Initial reports say at least two people were killed and dozens more injured, but this figure is expected to change as the true scale of the attack is still being assessed.
