Peace is far off; "It will take at least a month and a half"

Only if all parties are positively inclined and ready to immediately resolve all fundamental differences would it take at least a month and a half. Otherwise, it will certainly take longer,” a source told the agency.

In Abu Dhabi, on February 4 and 5, the second round of trilateral talks between Russia, the United States, and Ukraine took place. Following the discussions, U.S. President’s Special Envoy Steve Witkoff announced that Moscow and Kyiv had agreed on the exchange of 314 prisoners of war.

He stated that the Russian and Ukrainian delegations intend to continue consultations on resolving the conflict in the coming weeks.

The first round of trilateral security consultations involving Russia, Ukraine, and the United States was held on January 23 and 24, also in Abu Dhabi.
