Russia spoke up about the Operation "Spider's Web": You tested our patience
Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Sergei Ryabkov said recent Ukrainian attacks on Russian airports did not cause significant damage to the country's nuclear potential and that the strategic deterrence capacity against the United States remained unchanged.

"The American, as well as the Russian, nuclear deterrent potential has not suffered any significant damage. The scale of the consequences of this attack by Kyiv is being deliberately exaggerated," Ryabkov told reporters in Sochi, Interfax reported.
He explained that part of the damaged equipment is already planned for restoration and is not fully connected to the platforms covered by the Strategic Offensive Arms Reduction Treaty (START), which still remains the reference framework in the field of arms control - even though Russia has suspended its participation.
"Certain systems can be classified as part of strategic aviation, but others do not fall under the definition of heavy bombers under START," Ryabkov said.
He particularly pointed out that the attacks are not only an expression of the "irresponsible behavior of the criminal regime in Kyiv", but also a manifestation of contempt for the countries that support Ukraine, including those that, according to him, have capacities for reconnaissance and transmitting information in real time.
"These countries have deliberately tested our patience and undermined the foundations of the concept of nuclear deterrence - not only by giving in to the Kyiv regime, but also by supplying it with sensitive military information," Ryabkov said.
He emphasized that the absence of reaction from Washington and London to Russian requests to end this practice is "recognition of their involvement."
"Such moves, although they have not led to a direct escalation at the moment, could hypothetically lead to a serious confrontation between the nuclear powers if they continue," Ryabkov warned.
Let's recall that the operation "Spider's Web" is a secret Ukrainian operation that attacked air bases throughout Russia.
The attack was immediately declared Russia's "Pearl Harbor" – due to its surprise, scale and consequences. According to the Ukrainian authorities, the attack was carried out with a total of 117 drones hidden in the roofs of wooden houses that were loaded onto trucks.
The trucks were driven to the Olenya, Belaya, Capilyevo, Ivanovo and Murmansk air bases, and when it was time to attack, the roofs opened by remote control and the drones flew towards their targets.
The targets of the attack were strategic Russian aircraft - including Tu-95 and Tu-22M3 bombers, as well as Beria's A-50, an early warning aircraft. Ukraine claims that 41 military aircraft have been destroyed or severely damaged, representing about 34 percent of Russia's fleet of nuclear-capable Tu-95 bombers. The damage was estimated at more than 7 billion dollars.
