The Serbian tennis player defeated Italian Francesco Maestrelli in three straightforward sets for his second routine victory in Melbourne in three days.
Now just one win away from a new milestone - a historic 400th Grand Slam match victory, Djokovic showed on Instagram how excited he is about his current form.
“No turning back. Let’s go, Australia,” Djokovic posted on Instagram.
It seems Djokovic feels he can achieve a lot at this year’s Australian Open and that this might be the moment he’s close to his 25th Grand Slam title.
His next opponent will be a significantly tougher challenge than his previous matches: Dutch player Botic van de Zandschulp, who defeated him on hard court last year.
