RHMZ issues new warning: Through September 15… PHOTO
The unfavorable weather conditions are expected to continue through the end of the first ten days of September, with below-average precipitation and above-average temperatures, the State Hydrometeorological Institute said.
Temperatures of 30 to 35°C are expected in most areas, which will continue to contribute to a high risk of fires starting and spreading in open areas, the RHMZ said.
In its warning for Serbia concerning high temperatures, the RHMZ said that a reduction in heat stress and its adverse impact on all socioeconomic sectors sensitive to weather conditions is forecast in the second half of the month.
A warm day is forecast for today. After a cooler morning, the day will be mostly sunny and warm, with light winds of variable direction.
The lowest temperatures will range from 7°C in the southeast to 16°C in the Belgrade area, while the highest daytime temperatures will range from 29 to 32°C.
