Rain falls on Serbia; RHMZ sounds alarms – strong gusts of wind, thunder and hail threaten

According to the RHMZ, today we can expect variable cloudy and fresher weather. In the morning and before noon in the north and in parts of western and central Serbia, and in the afternoon and in other regions, in places with rain and local showers with thunderstorms, which will be more pronounced in the southern regions, where short-term weather conditions are also possible. In the afternoon, precipitation will cease in the north, and then gradually clear up, while gradual stabilization of the weather throughout the country is expected in the evening hours.

Wind weak and moderate, in the afternoon in hilly and mountainous areas occasionally strong, western and northwestern. Highest temperature from 20 to 30 °C.

In Belgrade, also in the morning and before noon, occasional rain and local showers with the possibility of thunderstorms. Wind weak and moderate western and northwestern. Maximum temperature around 22 °C.

In the afternoon, variable and unstable weather in southern Serbia with showers and thunderstorms, which may be locally more pronounced, in some places with hail and strong winds.

From Saturday (July 19th) there will be a sharp increase in temperatures, so on Sunday and at the beginning of next week (July 20-22nd) it will be very warm again, in most places from 34 to 40 °C.

Hydrological warning

On the Sava near Sremska Mitrovica and Šabac, water levels will fluctuate around and slightly below low navigation levels in the coming days.

On the Kolubara with its tributaries, on the Jadar, on the Mlava, as well as on the upper reaches of the Western and Southern Morava with their tributaries, flows have approached the minimum average monthly values of 95% security (biological minimum).

Sudden rise in temperature for the weekend

On Friday (July 18th) variably cloudy with sunny periods and mostly dry.

From Saturday (July 19th) Mostly sunny with a sharp increase in temperature, so on Sunday and early next week it will be very hot again, in most places from 34 to 40 °C.

From Wednesday (July 23rd), it will be a little cooler.
