“Salaries in Kruševac were €275; Today they are €902”

“In 2014, the average salary in Kruševac was €275. Today, it is €902—three and a half times higher. Regardless of inflation, your standard of living here has increased by at least two and a half times,” Vučić told the gathered citizens in Kruševac.

Pointing out that the Morava Corridor has been built, connecting Ćićevac and Varvarin with Kruševac, Trstenik, Vrnjačka Banja, and Kraljevo, and extending further to Čačak, Vučić said these were nevertheless significant changes. He also recalled that a Regional Industrial and Technology Park had been built.

“When you look at what Kruševac looks like today compared to how it looked when it was a city, I would say, of hungry people and people without prospects, the difference is enormous,” Vučić emphasized.

He stated that he had personally brought Kromberg & Schubert to Kruševac, where the company now employs 4,000 people.

“We provided subsidies for that factory and brought them to Kruševac. Could salaries be higher? Yes, I hope they can. But 4,000 people have jobs and salaries, not to mention the many subcontracting companies and the countless salaries that are generated in the Rasina District as a result,” Vučić said.

As he emphasized, one of the key priorities that needs to be addressed in Kruševac, as well as throughout Serbia, is healthcare.

He added that the second section of the bypass around the city would also be completed, and that the reconstruction of numerous roads was already underway.

“We must build that bridge over the Gaglovka River. It won’t cost much, but we also need to build the road through Rosica and Vukanja to Prokuplje, connecting the Rasina and Toplica districts. That is something we must do here. We still have many local roads to work on in Ćićevac, from Pojate and Lučani, and in Varvarin, but especially in Aleksandrovac, Brus, and Trstenik.

I want you to know what I will be working on day and night: attracting new investors to Kruševac, Trstenik, Aleksandrovac, Brus, Ćićevac, and Varvarin,” Vučić emphasized.

He stated that this would be a priority task for him.
