Vučić on the elections: "This is like the World Cup Final"; "We must not be undisciplined"

He urged citizens not to take the election results for granted.

“‘We’ll win, everything will be fine with Vučić. I don’t really need to go out and vote that day; I have more important things to do here and there.’ No, this is like the FIFA World Cup—the most important match, the final. We must not be undisciplined,” Vučić said.

Speaking about the election campaign, he claimed that substantial financial resources had been invested in attempts to destabilize Serbia.

“A great deal of money has been invested in destroying this country. Hundreds of millions of euros and billions of euros have been invested to destroy our country. We must not allow that to happen in the elections,” he said.

Vučić then urged citizens to make their voting decisions after discussing the matter with their family members.

“The most important thing now is for you to go out and vote, bring your family members along, and make your decision by sitting down together and considering what is best for your families. Think about whether you will be better off with one side or the other,” Vučić said.
