"The fifth Southeast Europe–Ukraine Summit that I am attending, representing our Serbia. After Odesa, Athens, Dubrovnik, and Tirana, it is now Kyiv’s turn. I believe we will have a good summit, provide each other with support on the European path, and increase bilateral cooperation. As always, there will be difficult discussions on the joint Declaration of the participants. After Paris, I traveled in the afternoon and throughout the night, via Moldova and central Ukraine, in order to reach Kyiv. A little tired, but I will fight and protect Serbia," Vučić wrote on Instagram.

The summit is attended by European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen and senior officials from Albania, Moldova, Romania, Croatia, Slovenia, North Macedonia, Bulgaria, Montenegro, Turkey, as well as Greece online.

Ukraine has once again not invited the so-called Kosovo to participate in the summit. Pristina was not invited when the summit was held in Odesa, nor now in Kyiv, which, according to the report, demonstrates special respect for Serbia and its territorial integrity, as well as a commitment to respecting the fundamental principles of international law.

One of the first to arrive in the Ukrainian capital was European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen. The politician emphasized that this was her 11th visit to Kyiv since the beginning of Russia’s full-scale invasion.

It is also known that Romanian President Nicușor Dan and Moldovan President Maia Sandu have arrived in Kyiv.

The complete list of European leaders who will visit the capital on July 15 has not yet been published.
