"I discussed with Ambassador Botsan-Kharchenko the difficult period facing Serbia, the diplomatic struggle on several fronts and the serious challenges faced by the Serbian people in Kosovo and Metohija, but also in the surrounding area," said Vučić on the Instagram account "buducnostsrbijeav".

"We exchanged opinions on attempts to destabilize the region, as well as Serbia's efforts to fight in the international arena for the preservation of not only its own state and national interests, but also for respect for international law and the principles on which a fair global order should rest. I emphasized that preserving stability in the region is of vital interest to our country and pointed out that the arbitrary moves of Pristina and initiatives such as the draft resolution of the UN General Assembly on Srebrenica do not in any way contribute to the process of reconciliation, building trust and cooperation in the region. I reiterated my gratitude to the Russian Federation for its firm stance regarding the territorial integrity of Serbia, as well as for respecting our sovereignty regarding independent politics and the unique path that our country has chosen. That path is not easy, but we count on the full support of all sincere friends of Serbia on it," said President of Serbia.
