Vučić arrives at EPC Summit, Welcomed by Danish PM; Important meetings ahead with Rutte and Meloni VIDEO
Aleksandar Vučić addressed the public from Copenhagen, where he is participating in the European Political Community summit.
He first announced a series of important meetings, including talks with NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte, German Chancellor Friedrich Merz, the Prime Minister of Portugal, Giorgia Meloni, and Emmanuel Macron.
“We have several initiatives in the fight against narcotics, and also, importantly for us, bilateral meetings with German Chancellor Merz, Rutte, and the Prime Minister of Portugal. I believe there will be more important meetings, and then we will return to address the issues with NIS,” Vučić said, adding: “I spoke with the Croatian Prime Minister last night, and he understands the gravity of the position Serbia finds itself in. After some time, you are de facto left without a refinery.”
He then turned to one of the most pressing issues on the international political scene — the situation in Gaza.
“I’ve been following the news, I saw what is happening. No one in the world is surprised. Some people simply didn’t want to see it,” Vučić said.
“As for fighting for our people, that is our duty. No matter how often we have to deal with irresponsible and frivolous individuals, there are as many of these so-called saviors of the world as you like. When they are unable to save themselves, they call on the state for help. The state is always there to assist,” he concluded.
He thanked the Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Denmark for the warm welcome
A little later, Vučić posted on Instagram, thanking the Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Denmark, Mette Frederiksen, for the warm welcome and the opportunity to represent Serbia in her hospitable country.
