Vučić at reception in honor of creation of Non-Aligned Movement: A symbol of striving towards a fairer world
The President of the Republic of Serbia, Aleksandar Vučić, attended a reception in New York in honor of the creation of the Non-Aligned Movement.
"The Non-Aligned Movement represents one of the most significant chapters of our foreign policy, through which Serbia, as the successor of the former Yugoslavia, left a deep mark in the history of international relations. Founded on the principles of freedom, equality and respect for sovereignty, this movement remains today a symbol of the aspiration towards a fairer and more equal world, in the spirit of the United Nations Charter and the universal values of peace.
We are proud that Serbia continues to preserve and develop the legacy of the non-aligned, relying on its historical role and rich experience in conducting dialogue and building bridges of friendship between nations. It is this legacy that is the foundation on which we build our position in the world today and contribute to the preservation of peace and stability," it was stated on the post on Instagram.
