The start of the Vučić-Putin meeting is expected

A number of topics will be discussed at the meeting - from energy, gas arrangements and oil, through talks on infrastructure, to bilateral relations between Serbia and Russia.

The President of Serbia arrived in Beijing today, starting a multi-day visit to the People's Republic of China, where he will attend the commemoration of the 80th anniversary of the victory in World War II at the invitation of Chinese President Xi Jinping.

In addition to the President of Russia, Vučić will also meet with Chinese President Xi Jinping, as well as numerous other officials.

Vučić is among the 26 world leaders invited by Xi

At the invitation of Chinese President Xi Jinping, 26 world leaders will attend the commemoration of the victory in the Second World War in Beijing, including the President of Serbia, Aleksandar Vučić.

In addition to Vučić, the parade in Beijing will be attended by Russian President Vladimir Putin, Slovak Prime Minister Robert Fico, Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko, Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev and Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan.

Additionally, North Korean leader Kim Jong Un, Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian, Cuban President Miguel Díaz-Canel, Pakistani Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and Kazakh President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev will be in Beijing.

The announcement of the Chinese Ministry of Foreign Affairs states that the leaders of Cambodia, Vietnam, Laos, Indonesia, Malaysia, Mongolia, Nepal, Maldives, Uzbekistan, Tajikistan, Kyrgyzstan, Turkmenistan, Congo, Zimbabwe and Myanmar will also attend the ceremony.
