Vučić: Extremists beat police officers; Blockers are executors of political orders; I'm going to Novi Pazar
Serbian President Aleksandar Vučić addresses the public.
President Vučić talks about the situation in Novi Pazar.
As he said, people expect actions from the state.
"Horrible things happened in Novi Pazar today, and not for the first time. It has nothing to do with the blockaders, they are only executors of the political orders of certain parties, of certain blatantly anti-Serb options. They are only there to carry out their political orders. This morning we received a request from the Rector of the State University in Novi Pazar, otherwise it is a Muslim woman for the police to enter. The building of the University in Novi Pazar looks like a den, not a place where decent people who stick to cleanliness live," he said.
He points out that the police acted in accordance with their powers, while the extremist madmen beat the policemen with stones and fists, although they could easily have beaten them.
He pointed out that he always tried to improve the relationship between Serbs and Muslims, and pointed out that investments were made in the places where they live the most.
"The most expensive school we built in Sjenica, with an Olympic-sized swimming pool, the Novi Pazar Clinical and Hospital Center, roads like the Tutin-Novi Pazar road," he stated and added that roads to Novi Pazar are being built.
He says that Pazar can't pave two streets with its own money, without the help of the state.
"I'm not going to talk about what we did on the Pešter plateau and about many things that even Tito didn't do. Extremists started using blockaders and students to implement the worst anti-Serb policy," said Vučić.
He points out that there are double standards and that none of the Muslim political politicians spoke out to condemn the cursing of Jesus Christ and the cursing of the Serbian mother.
"As for the blockaders, they are a shame in themselves," he said.
A total of 71 blockaders from all over Serbia went to Novi Pazar.
"They haven't reached a three-digit number. There will be fools from Užice who will come. They have nothing left to do, they don't know what to do with themselves," he said.
He also said that those who used violence against police officers were arrested.
"All the persons who participated in the riots will be brought to justice. I was not excited when Džaferović came and arranged with the main organizer Sulejman Ugljanin and accused the Serbian state of fascism, and I did not utter a bad word. They tried, in every possible way, to provoke conflicts and my reaction. I was silent then, but now I will say that if he does not understand that we are talking about the secession of Sandžak or The Raška area brings some benefit to its people, then he is wrong," said Vučić.
Serbia respects the integrity of BiH and expects respect for its integrity, he added.
"It is so ridiculous and stupid to think that they can defeat the country. There are three things that must not be played with, fire, water and the state," said Vučić.
He says that the state is much, much stronger than thugs, hooligans and bandits, adding that there is no reason for people to worry.
He reminds that the prosecutor's office is silent when someone calls for unconstitutional actions and the overthrow of the state, which indicates that there is a strong influence of external factors.
"My message to the Serbs is to sleep peacefully, that the state is there to take care of them, but also to the Bosniaks who do not want this kind of chaos and unrest. I don't know how they saw the fault of the Serbian state in this. It is not the state's fault, the rector's or this or that one's fault for cursing Jesus, for cursing the Serbian mother. I just want to reassure people, not to worry. We did not want to use force, but I would ask them not to force us to do it because, if we are forced, we will have to do it", Vucic said.
He didn't hide that he is disappointed with the behavior of coalition partners Usame Zukorlić and Rasim Ljajić.
"I will soon go to Novi Pazar," said Vučić.
