By the way, this year the forum celebrates its 20th jubilee edition.

On that occasion, President Vučić will speak on the panels "Strategic and Economic Importance of Southeast Europe" and "Seizing the Moment: Creating Permanent Partnerships in the Neighborhood".

Moreover, the President of Serbia will have a series of bilateral meetings with world and European officials, as well as representatives of international institutions, institutes and companies.

Ahead of the forum, President Vučić announced that he will also speak about AP Kosovo and Metohija and that he will have several important meetings with foreign officials, as well as that he will discuss Kosovo and other issues with the EU special envoy for dialogue between Belgrade and Pristina, Peter Sørensen.

"I believe that I will have excellent meetings, certainly with the host, the Czech president, Mr. Pavel, the Armenian Prime Minister Pashinyan, but also many, many other officials, from Sørensen to many others with whom I will discuss the Kosovo and Metohija and all other important issues," Vučić told Tanjug.

Vučić said that the main topics will be world conflicts and the search for solutions in an increasingly complicated world, but that it will also be interesting to hear what, for example, the recent special envoy for dialogue between Belgrade and Pristina, Miroslav Lajčak, will say about the Brussels Agreement and the situation in which the Serbian people are in Kosovo and Metohija.

"That panel will be interesting, where there will be many interesting people, so it will be good to hear what Lajčak will say today about everything that has not been fulfilled from the Brussels Agreement and about the situation and position of the Serbian people in Kosovo and Metohija. And that can be heard far from here in Prague. So it's not just Czechs, Slovaks, Austrians..., but also Germans and everyone else who always listens to what is said here on GLOBSEC," Vučić told Tanjug.

This year's meeting brings together world leaders, innovators and change agents under the auspices of President Petr Pavel and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Czech Republic, dealing with today's most urgent global challenges and shaping action strategies for the future.

For the past two decades, this forum has served as a meeting place for heads of state, global visionaries and pioneering thinkers, paving the way for a better future.

The forum will discuss topics such as the dynamics and impact of President Trump's second term on global trade, transatlantic relations and the global order, the current political cycle of the EU, shaped by transitional periods in France and Germany, the traditional engines of the Union's action, with a focus on defense, expansion, competitiveness, health care resilience, energy security, migration and others, the fourth year of the conflict in Ukraine, with deepening economic and military implications.

It will also discuss the fragile truce in the Middle East and ongoing complex crises, changing global dynamics driven by the growing importance of the global South, including regions such as Latin America, Africa and the Indo-Pacific, the evolving geotechnological environment: global competition, security challenges and the race for technological dominance.

The twentieth "GLOBSEC" forum will gather over 1,500 participants from over 70 countries. In addition to the main sessions, the Forum will feature exclusive side events and brainstorming sessions designed to generate practical solutions and formulate strategic plans for the future.

In parallel with this forum, "GLOBSEC" will also host the second edition of the annual Prague Geotechnology Summit.

This platform will bring together thought leaders, policymakers, business executives and technology visionaries to explore the evolving intersection of cutting-edge technologies with national security, geopolitics and geostrategic relationships.
