Vučić meets with Putin; He posted on Instagram: "I am proud to be the president of Serbia" VIDEO
President of Serbia, Aleksandar Vučić, is in the Russian Federation, where he will attend a military parade to mark Victory Day, after which he will meet with the President of Russia, Vladimir Putin.
During his stay in Moscow, meetings are planned with the President of the People's Republic of China Xi Jinping, as well as with the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Kassym Jomart Tokayev.
As part of his visit to the Russian Federation, President Vučić will also meet with the Patriarch of Moscow and All Russia, His Holiness Mr. Kirill, and on that occasion present him with the Order of the Republic of Serbia on a ribbon.
On Friday, President Vučić will attend the Victory Parade on Red Square in Moscow.
He announced that despite all the pressures, he will proudly represent Serbia at the 80th anniversary of the victory over fascism.
"There is an essence here, tens of millions of people died so that we could live today. We have no right to revise history. We have no right as a nation that has suffered a lot, a nation that suffered both from the German Nazi occupier and from Nazi servants in the region, and almost all of them were and above all fought against the Serbian people on the territory of today's Serbia, but also on the territory of other regional countries today. I am proud that I am the president of Serbia and that I will be able to attend commemorating the fight against fascism, because if anyone has the right to be proud of that fight, it is the Serbian people," the Serbian president emphasized.

Vučić pointed out that due to his decision to attend the Victory Parade in Moscow, he expects consequences, but that he will feel them personally, not the state.
"Instead of behaving leniently towards us, which would be logical, normal, instead of saying - we did a great injustice to that small country, to that small and proud nation, the Serbian people. And what else do we ask from that small and proud nation? What else do we want from them? To shout at us and tell us 'you were right to bomb us, to kill 2,500 people, to kill so many children,'" he asked.
After the Victory Parade, President Vučić is expected to have a bilateral meeting with the President of the People's Republic of China, Xi Jinping, and with the President of the Russian Federation, Vladimir Putin, on Friday. As he announced, the two will discuss the agreement on the new gas arrangement, but also other bilateral and important issues. The meeting of the two leaders was officially announced by the Kremlin.
